Upcoming Events and Classes at The Writing Barn:
So you want to write romance? But where do you begin? How does romance writing differ and what ways does it call on the fundamentals of all fiction?
This six-week class with NYT and USA Today best-selling author Tracy Wolff explores the ins and outs of romance writing: conflict, chemistry, and sensuality for all heat levels, as well as well as the building blocks of all fiction–character development, world building scene and structure, plot, and other key elements will be presented. Tracy will also share about the business of romance writing and the ever changing marketplace.
This class series will help you to understand the specific factors that make up the specialized world of romantic fiction and are designed to keep you writing or get you to the page.
Our 2014 and 2015 Complete Picture Book Workshops SOLD OUT and each intensive has resulted in a writer (or two) being signed by the visiting agent (See Writing Barn Success Stories) with manuscripts being sold and turned into books, which were read in their draft stages at the Writing Barn podium!
