One of the great perks of being an intern at The Writing Barn is getting to meet all kinds of successful writers. This past week was no exception as I got to sit in on the first Elements of Memoir Workshop with the talented Donna Johnson.
Donna Johnson is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir, Holy Ghost Girl.
The class brought about it a mix of Texan writers, with their own unique stories waiting to be shared. The workshop lasts seven weeks and will focus on the different styles and elements that go into writing Memoir. The group seemed eager to begin work, and everyone at The Barn can’t wait to see what unfolds for them in the next six weeks.
