Our physical space is in Austin, Texas, but The Writing Barn serves and supports writers and educators around the world. Our programs, both online and in person, provide writers a space to cultivate their craft and create a literary community.

We’re proud to support BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and financial need-based writers through ongoing scholarships for all programming. To apply for a scholarship, please fill out this form.

We also offer gift cards that can be made out in the amount of your choosing and applied to any classes, retreats, or overnight stays at The Writing Barn. Give the gift of creativity to someone you care about, any time of the year!
