Yesterday, author Nikki Loftin launched her latest book, Nightingale’s Nest to a packed crowd of family friends and fans at Austin’s own Book People.
Nikki is a rousing presenter and she had us laughing and crying, and leaning forward to hang on her every word.
Nikki thanked her and her children’s treasured teachers, by threading their names throughout the book.
After the talk, the kids made treasure nests as Nikki signed the long line of book buyers. There was face painting galore.
After all the books were signed Nikki held an after-party at The Writing Barn.
Nikki’s agent, Suzie Townsend of New Leaf Media was in attendance.
