Students will enter the workshop with an existing draft and walk away with a polished, top-notch essay. We will focus on what college admissions officers are looking for, common pitfalls to avoid, how to write fresh, original essays based on the “same old, same old” questions, and how to let loose your authentic voice onto the page.
This workshop will cover:
- The six attributes your essay MUST have
- The secret for how to end a good college essay
- The surprisingly common mistakes that turn off college admissions officers
- Tips & tricks for making your essay stand out from the crowd
- How to sound like yourself, and not like some cardboard cutout version of you!
